My paintings tell stories of Nigeria’s past, the people and events that shaped it.

I believe that when we as citizens understand our history, being aware of our successes and shortcomings we will develop an unequivocal sense of self as a nation and people and consequently,

I believe we will make a great deal or progress in reaching our full potential.

I hope that by learning about the stories my paintings represent, people’s worlds will be made considerably bigger, yet all the more within their reach.
